Hinkley Point C (HPC) marks the return of the United Kingdom to the nuclear scene after more than twenty years without a new power plant. Designed around EPR (European Pressurized Reactor) technology, this infrastructure aims to provide low-carbon energy to more than six million homes, contributing to the energy transition and to the country's security of supply. Its international nature, its increasing regulatory requirements and the coordination of a large number of stakeholders make it a project of considerable magnitude. EDF, the project owner, must manage a complex network of industrial and institutional players, while guaranteeing the reliability and performance of the EPR design.

The success of this project depends not much on technical rigor as on the quality of project management.
