Job description

The Position: Business Architect - Nuclear

We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to support major business transformation, process improvement and digital change initiatives across the Hinkley Point C programme.

This position sits at the intersection of strategy, business architecture and organisational change, helping shape future operating models, optimise business processes and develop investment cases that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Working within a complex and highly regulated environment, you will collaborate with programme teams, business leaders and key stakeholders to drive transformation initiatives from concept through to implementation. This is a business-focused role centred on business architecture, operating model development and change delivery rather than technical solution design.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Business Architect will include:

  • Lead business architecture activities across complex transformation and change programmes.
  • Develop and define future-state operating models aligned to strategic business objectives.
  • Analyse, map and optimise business processes to improve organisational performance.
  • Develop business cases and investment cases with clear benefits realisation plans.
  • Facilitate workshops and engage with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and drive decision-making.
  • Manage business requirements, governance processes and change controls.
  • Assess commercial opportunities, benefits and business impacts associated with transformation initiatives.
  • Support digital transformation programmes and organisational change activities.
  • Provide business architecture expertise throughout the project lifecycle from concept through implementation.
  • Contribute to programme governance and ensure alignment between business objectives and project outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys driving business change, influencing senior stakeholders and shaping the future direction of a major infrastructure programme.
