About Vulcain Engineering

Vulcain Engineering is a global engineering consultancy, supporting some of the most technically complex and impactful projects across energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. We work in close partnership with our clients, embedding our people directly into project teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.

Our offshore wind capability continues to expand rapidly, and we are now seeking experienced offshore professionals to support completion and commissioning activities on a major offshore wind project in the North Sea.

The Position: Offshore Completion Supervisor – Wind Energy

Vulcain Engineering is recruiting an Offshore Completion Supervisor to support offshore wind turbine completion activities on the landmark UK Offshore Wind project – Dogger Bank.

Working at the interface between engineering, quality, and operations, the Offshore Completion Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing the offshore completion, punch‑list closure, test run preparation, and Taking Over (TOC) readiness of wind turbine components. This role is well suited to experienced engineers or senior technicians who are comfortable supervising offshore teams and working within strict technical documentation, quality, and completion processes.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Offshore Completion Supervisor will include:

  • Supervising offshore completion activities for wind turbine systems and components
  • Leading and coordinating teams of technicians involved in offshore completion works
  • Ensuring all completion activities meet technical specifications, quality standards, and project requirements
  • Reviewing and working in accordance with completion documentation, drawings, RAMS, and work instructions
  • Verifying compliance, identifying defects, and managing non‑conformances through to closure
  • Supporting planning and scheduling activities to ensure equipment, materials, and tooling are ready in line with offshore completion timelines
  • Coordinating closely with logistics, engineering, quality, and client teams to resolve technical or operational issues
  • Managing completion material and tooling on the SOV deck in support of offshore completion activities
  • Supporting Test Run and Taking Over (TOC) activities to enable handover to Customer or O&M
  • Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency across all offshore completion activities
  • Please note that this role involves working on regulated client sites and is subject to client‑mandated drug and alcohol testing

This is an excellent opportunity to work offshore on a high-profile offshore wind project while being supported by a global engineering consultancy. Vulcain Engineering offers long-term career development, exposure to complex offshore projects, and the chance to transition or develop within our energy project portfolio.

Technicians looking to move into a materials- or storekeeping-focused offshore role are actively encouraged to apply.
