Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager with expertise in package ownership to join our team.

As the Technical Project Manager - Package Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and execution of projects, taking ownership of the package and ensuring its successful delivery.

Your role will encompass the end-to-end process, from design to production readiness. This position requires a strong background in project management and extensive experience as a package owner and Mechanical Process Automation, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.


Responsibilities


  • Serve as the package owner and lead projects related to mechanical process automation within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Challenge and collaborate with the engineering service providers to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final production readiness.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the package, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), validation, package interfaces, change control, design reviews, and optimization.
  • Act as the main point of contact and liaison between the client and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Profile wanted

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-9 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, specifically as a package owner within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Senior Engineers experienced with Turnover Package who worked as PM are also going to be considered for this role
  • Technical background and expertise in mechanical process automation.
  • Proven track record of successfully challenging and collaborating with engineering service providers to achieve project goals.
  • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute detailed project plans, manage resources, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and experience in implementing validation strategies.
