In line with the 2021 agreement on professional equality between women and men concluded between management and trade unions, Vulcain has just signed the engineering charter on gender diversity.
Developed by Syntec-Ingénierie, it aims to instill more diversity in a rapidly changing world, and to change the place of women in engineering.
As an extension of the actions already undertaken, and which allow Vulcain Services to obtain a Index of 93/100, the company took 4 major commitments relating to:
- Theengineering image with young people (especially young girls)
- Theequal treatment throughout their careers
- Thepoise professional and personal life for all
- access to management positions For women

Moreover, as part of the Industry week from November 22 to 26, in partnership with the association “They're moving” including a dozen of our employees are “godparents” and “relays”, Vulcain Services will welcome a group of engineering students to present to them the activities of our 6 Design Offices, in France and internationally, and in particular the Building Information Modeling (BIM) professions. An opportunity to support the diversity of professions, but also to promote the image of a modern and innovative industry!
