The Vulcain Group welcomed Guillaume Allart, researcher in energy and environmental economics & volunteer at the Shift Project*, to discover 12 solutions to decarbonize our daily lives.
Is it possible to have a positive and significant impact on your carbon footprint and on climate change? Yes! And the employees of the Vulcain Group are now convinced: it is possible to act, it is important to act, and we can act immediately.
12 concrete solutions and simple, to decarbonize your daily life and fight against global warming on your own scale, such was the discovery of the employees of the Vulcain Group this morning, through this fascinating intervention by the Shift Project:
- On consumption : reduce, reuse and recycle our consumer goods
- On food : cook in season and locally, consume fewer animal products, do not waste
- On mobility : reduce the use of the car as much as possible, prefer the train for long trips, adopt eco-driving
- On the housing : put on a sweater instead of heating, choose a home that consumes less energy, undertake energy renovation work
