The Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) project is an important output from the Post-Fukushima stress test of the French nuclear fleet. It forms part of the “Grand Carénage” programme. The EDG is an additional backup device and is intended to supply electricity to the plant’s safety equipment and systems in the event of a station black-out.
OUR CONTRIBUTION
Engineering studies :
- On-site processing and management of Non-Conformity Forms (NFCs) in support of back-office engineering
- Drafting and preparation of installation and commissioning procedures
Project monitoring :
- Creation and updating of multi-site schedules from the engineering phases through to start-up
- Management and monitoring of the manufacture of DUS equipment (Diesels, HVAC systems, alternator, electrical cabinets, etc.).
- Contract management and interaction with subcontractors and customer (EDF)
Site supervision :
- Erection, transfer and commissioning of electrical (HV / LV) mechanical and I&C installations
- Setting up and management of on-site consignments

Le projet DUS (Diesel Ultime Secours) est une mesure importante du dispositif Post-Fukushima et s’inscrit dans le cadre du programme « Grand carénage ».
Les DUS sont un dispositif supplémentaire de secours et ont pour but d’alimenter en électricité les matériels et systèmes de sûreté de la centrale.
NOS INTERVENTIONS
Etudes d’ingénierie :
- Traitement et gestion des Fiches de Non-Conformités (FNC) sur site en support à l’ingénierie back-office
- Rédaction et préparation des procédures d’installation et de mise en service
Suivi de projet :
- Création et mise à jour des plannings multisites des phases d’ingénierie jusqu’au démarrage
- Pilotage et suivi de la fabrication des équipements du DUS (Diesels, systèmes HVAC, alternateur, armoires électriques…)
- Gestion et interaction contractuelles avec les sous-traitants et client (EDF)
Suivi de chantier :
- Montage, transfert et mise en service des installations électriques (BT & HT), mécaniques et I&C
- Mise en place et gestion des consignations sur site
